Hello, my name is Opie. My human foster calls me Goofy Monster, which I put up with. Thankfully his training is just about done so I am ready to move on to new challenges.
A bit about me:
•About three years old
•Don’t know who my parents are, but pretty sure one was a shar pei and other maybe a pointer?
•Have some allergies, not sure to what but I take a pill with my breakfast and it helps
•Love small kids, especially after they have eaten something sticky or gooey and need help getting clean
•Love running and playing with other dogs, though small ones that yip and nip I’ll shy away from
•Currently trying to bulk up and be ready for the beach season
•Can probably hold my bladder longer than you can
•Blankets! I absolutely need blankets to bury myself under for long warm naps
What I have been doing for my human foster:
•Developing his leash skills – he kind of dawdles so I have to pull him along a bit and show him how to sniff everything and greet everyone going by
•Pointing out all the sections of fence that need to be fixed
•Call him back when he leaves on his own – he’s getting good at finding his way home so I don’t need to call out as much
•Teaching him how to share a bed
•I sometimes can be reactive on leash but am working on this. Maybe you can help me with that?
