This stunning two-year-old spayed Savannah girl has come a long, long way.

When she first came into care, she was absolutely terrified of people — trembling at the sight of a human, shut down, and seemingly unreachable. At one point, we honestly weren’t sure there was hope. But with months of patience, gentle consistency, and trust-building, she’s made an incredible transformation. Now, she’s finally ready for her next chapter: a forever home where she can continue to grow, be challenged, and learn what love looks like in a home of her own. She is still a very shy girl — timid by nature — but when she opens up, she’s truly loving in her own unique way.

A wild beauty

Luann is extremely playful, food-motivated, and vocal when she’s feeling safe and curious. While she’s never shown aggression, she will sometimes let out a little hiss — her gentle way of saying, “Please give me space.” She doesn’t like fast movements or being picked up, and likely never will. That’s just part of who she is. Her adopter must be someone who respects her boundaries, understands she isn’t your “typical” housecat, and is willing to coexist with a little wild beauty in their home. We expect she’ll regress a bit at first after adoption — shutting down again, hiding, and taking time to adjust. But we are confident she will bounce back much more quickly than before, especially with someone who truly sees and values her for who she is.

If you have a quiet home, a patient heart, and a deep respect for the unique magic of animals like her, she may just be the most rewarding companion you’ll ever meet. If you do some research on Savannah cats and feel like you would be a great fit, please complete an application here. (Yes, we know it is more geared towards dog adoptions but just do the best you can).
