Buddy has had a long journey and is now ready for his forever home!
Found abandoned and frozen in a snow bank in -32 degree temps last February, Buddy was a “hot mess” — he was matted, starving, and needed help. The local RCMP brought him to our foster where we have been working hard to save his eyesight. Buddy is doing great (and all the neglect never affected his wonderful demeanour) and ready to take the next step in the story of his life.

Buddy is a 11 to 13-year-old poodle cross who definitely lives up to his name! He is a cuddly happy little guy. He’s mostly blind and will require eye drops for both eyes but loves his walks and enjoys meeting other dogs and people. Once he gets to know his house and terrain he gets around well! Buddy loves car rides but doesn’t like to be left alone. He sleeps all night in the bed and gets up when you do. So far cats are not his favourite, but he loves people and all other dogs. Buddy is a well-adjusted dog who will make a great companion!
